The waitlist form asks only for your email address. There is no name, company or location field, and no FRAMEWARD account to create. The service providers also process technical data as described below.
Subscription uses double opt-in. After you submit the form, you receive one email asking you to confirm. If you do not confirm, the address is not added to the list. If someone enters your address by mistake, no confirmation means no subscription.
The waitlist is run on Buttondown, an email service that acts as processor for this list. Your address is stored on their systems so that development notes and the launch email can be sent. Buttondown also processes technical connection data when you use its service. Their privacy policy is published at buttondown.com/legal/privacy.
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As with any web host, Cloudflare processes technical connection data such as IP addresses in order to serve the page and to protect against abuse. This is standard server operation and is not used to profile you. Their privacy policy is published at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Buttondown provides the waitlist service and Cloudflare hosts this website. The policy links above do not send a referrer identifying this page.
FRAMEWARD does not sell or rent your address or share it for advertising. It is processed by the service providers described above to operate the website and waitlist.
This site has no analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party scripts and no tracking cookies. The pages are static files. Nothing about your visit is recorded beyond the ordinary server logs described above.
Loading a page sends a request to the website host. Submitting the waitlist form sends your email address to Buttondown. Following an external link opens the linked service.
Every email includes an unsubscribe link. One click removes your address from the list.
You can also write to hello@frameward.app and ask to be removed, or ask what is stored about you, and it will be done without conditions.
Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and portability, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@frameward.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
This notice covers the website. The FRAMEWARD application itself is local-first by design: your Spots, photographs, notes, Trips and Gear live in a local database on your Mac. There is no account and no library sync cloud, and the app does not send your library anywhere.
While the online map is open, Apple receives the visible map area, but not Spot names, notes, photographs or local paths. Check weather sends only the selected Spot's saved shooting coordinates to Apple Weather. Sensitive Spots stay off the online map unless enabled for that session, and a Sensitive weather check asks once before sending its coordinates. The offline map is read from your Mac and makes no map-provider request.
The conditions field downloads signed region files for the part of the map on screen from field.frameward.app, a server run by FRAMEWARD. The request names a region block and an hour, never a Spot, a name or a coordinate, and a Sensitive Spot is checked from those files on your Mac like any other Spot. The field server sees ordinary connection data, like any web host, and keeps no account. A full privacy notice for the application will accompany the release.
